Robert Michael Knizner

Robert Michael Knizner, 82, of Picayune, MS passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at Oschner Medical Center in Louisiana. Mr. Knizner was born September 23, 1937 in Youngstown, PA. He was a high school and college graduate. Mr. Knizner was a retired plumber and a U.S. Navy Veteran, retiring after serving 21 years and 6 months, including 2 tours in Vietnam. He played high school and semi-pro football. Mr. Knizner enjoyed singing, fishing and hunting and watching his grandbabies run around his yard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Knizner; his parents, Evelyn and Joseph Knizner; his son, Kurt Eisman; 1 grandchild; and 1 great-grandchild. Mr. Knizner’s survivors include his children, Michael Knizner, Mark Knizner, Evelyn Schmidt and Angilee Heniser; his companion, Cathleen Tabor; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and his dog, Scrappy. A Graveside Service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 11:00 am. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
