Robyn Spikes Turner

Robyn Spikes Turner, age 54, of Biloxi, MS passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019. She was born July 4, 1965 in Clinton, OK. She was the daughter of Viki Dudley Brown and the late Bob Spikes Robyn received her early and high school education in Greenville, MS. She obtained her Pharmacy degree, graduating with honors, from the School of Pharmacy in Monroe, LA. She furthered her education focusing on Pharmaceutical Compounding. Robyn worked in Biloxi and the surrounding Gulf Coast area for over 25 years. Robyn enjoyed refinishing antique furniture, oil painting and gardening. She had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. She was a Child of God and lived her faith every day. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family; especially by her mother. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ocean Springs, MS and a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). Robyn was preceded in death by her father, Bob Spikes of Pocahontas, AR; her aunt, Glenda Dudley-Johnson; her uncle, Franklin H. Johnson; her cousins, Chuck Johnson and Caleb Johnson, all of White Hall, AR. Robyn is survived by her mother, Viki Brown of Ocean Springs, MS; her cousins, Debbie Jane Johnson, Franklin H. Johnson, II. "Beaver" and Mary Johnson-Skillen; her adopted cousin, Jay Skillen; and her beloved and treasured dogs, Gracie and Stella. The family would like to thank Hope Tinsman, James Combs, Nancy Thomas and Lisa Turner for their unselfish dedication in caring for Robyn during her illness and for being there when the family needed you the most. A private memorial will be held at a later date. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
