It is with deep and great sadness that the family of Rodney B. Senseney announce his sudden passing on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Alabama. Peacefully and surrounded by his wife and children, Rodney joined Our Lord in His Heavenly Kingdom at the age of 66.
Rodney was born May 17, 1955 and was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. He attended and graduated from Ocean Springs High School. Rodney was an Army Veteran. He served on the School Board for Sacred Heart Elementary School, coached Pee-Wee football, and was Grand Marshall of the North Bay Carnival Association in 2017. Rodney owned and operated Porto Call Restaurant for 30 years. When he had time he enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with his children, family and watching football.
It is with deep sorrow and love that we will forever mourn his loss and forever will hold his memory in our Hearts. "Rest In Peace Young Rodney."
He is preceded in death by his parents, Blake and Oral Mae Senseney; his daughter, Kristen Kay; and his brother Rocky.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Kathleen Senseney; their children, Lauren (Orin), Rodney (Joey), Rita (Wade), Ryan (Olivia), Carolyn (Ryan), Richard, Kenny (Kristy), Alison (Christopher) and Michelle (Gary); his brothers and sisters, Susan (Rosemarie), Blake, Bonnie, Blaise, Kerry (Stacey), Shawn (Shannon), Lisa (David) and Holli; only one aunt, 96 years old, Inez Senseney; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 11:00 am.
