Rosco Lane

Mr. Rosco Lane, age 69, of Vancleave, MS, was called to his heavenly home on July 14, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 11, 1951, and was a native of Vancleave, where he spent his childhood with his siblings, Russell (Robin) Lane, Elizabeth (Robert) Montgomery and Jimmy (Susie) Lane. He spent his life from young adulthood to death, building custom homes throughout the Gulf Coast region. His attention to detail and expertise made him a sought-after builder, and endeared many people to him throughout his life - from clients to subcontractors. He was a skilled outdoorsman, and he may have told you, the best around. He had a true knack for fishing specifically but deer hunting was not to be overlooked either. He shared his life with his wife of 52 years, Nella Rae Cannette. Together they had three daughters, Lisa Ann Bobinger, Christine (Jason) Hudson and Nikki Lane, as well as numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren, Eric Fayard, Logan Bobinger, Nolan Bobinger, Paris Hudson, Jillian Freund, Kaisyn Fayard and Oaklyn Fayard. He was loved tenderly by his numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Rosco was preceded in death by his father, Dwyer, mother, Emma Jean (Adams) and grandson, Ricky Fayard. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 17, from 1pm until 3pm, with a 3pm chapel service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at the Shiloh Cemetery in Vancleave. The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
