Ruth "Cookie" Cammel

Ruth Cammel (Cookie), age 57, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 . Ruth was known by many throughout the community. She never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand. She was very active in her local church community as well. Her laugh was a contagious laugh to all whom she got to share time with. She leaves behind her five children whom she loved dearly; Matthew (Matt), Katherine (Kathy), Jonathan (Jon-Jon), Candice (Candi) and Heather (Nikki); and seven grandchildren that were her world. Also many friends whom she loved and considered family. Services will be held at the Gulfport Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on 15th Street, on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 3 pm. Friends may visit between the hours of 2 and 3 pm.
