Sandra “Sandy” Lucretia Wirick, age 62, of Escatawpa died on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at her home.
Sandy was born on November 7, 1958 in Birmingham, AL. She worked in the medical field doing clerical work. She enjoyed gardening, she loved her pets and loved being with her grandchildren. She enjoyed serving the Lord by faithfully going to church, reading the Bible and teaching her family about the power of prayer.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Everett Shelton and Ruth Cupstid. Left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Phillip “Dale” Wirick; children, Sandra Buzbee, Knoia Dye, Virginia Havard, David Wirick and Lindsay Moore; grandchildren, Gunner Dye, Sierra Papenfuss, LaKota Erkhart, Mason and Gauge Havard, Ethan and Desirae Dye, Braelynd and Jaelynd Wirick, Brixton, MaKayla Moore and Aiden Sang; great grandchildren, Lillith and Eli Dye, and Tristan and Logan Erkhart; siblings, Connie Barclay, Debra Sterette and Billy Cupstid; pets, Muttly, Baby, Kit-Kat and Puma.
Per her wishes, her body was donated to science. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to be donated to ASCPA at P.O. Box 96929, Washington DC 20077 or they may go online to www.aspca.org; or your local non-kill shelter.
A private family memorial service was held for family at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi.
