Sandra Herndon Senseney

Sandra Herndon Senseney, 69, of Vancleave, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019. She was born on May 31, 1950 in Poplarville, Mississippi, where she grew up and attended school. Sandra worked at Oak Park Elementary in Ocean Springs as a teacher’s assistant for 16 years. She loved spending time with her family and playing with all of her grandkids. Sandra also enjoyed shopping, sewing, and baking. She was preceded in death by her parents, James T. Herndon and Laura Mittie Herndon; and sisters, Shirley Reid, Carolyn Pipkin, and Jane McLaury Sandra is survived by her husband of 51 years, A. Blake Senseney of Vancleave; three children, Shawn Senseney, Brandi Renfroe (Mickey), and Shane Senseney (Brandi); grandchildren, Michael Senseney, Joshua Senseney, Marina Senseney, Ethan Senseney, Laurel Senseney, Jaycee Senseney, Cody Senseney, Briggs Renfroe, and Saben Renfroe; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Peterson and Ember Peterson; brothers, Robert Herndon (Corinne) and Lonnie Herndon; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a chapel service on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. where friends may visit one-hour prior, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
