Shirley Faith Paxson

Shirley Faith Paxson, age 86, of D’Iberville, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Gulfport, MS. She was born on January 20, 1933 in New Jersey. She loved to spend time with her friends at the Casinos and was actively involved at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lena Slobusky; husband, Fred Paxson; and siblings, Trudy, Al, Elsie and Annie. Survivors include her children, Kim Moret (Pete) and Keith Paxson (Barbra); grandchildren, Adam, Jacob, and Kathryn Moret and Skylar Paxson; brother, Frank Keller (Rita); and dog, Shadow. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to be made to Canon Hospice, 1520 Broad Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Canon Hospice for their care and compassion. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at 12:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, is honored to help serve this family.
