Shirley Jane King Shill

Ms. Shirley Jane King Shill, 84, a life long resident of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in Gulfport. Ms. Shill, a native of Mount Olive, MS, was the daughter of the late D.A King and Inez Clark King. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Gulfport. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Hilda Mae King Payne and Carrie Joan Ladner. She loved her family, friends and attending church. Ms. Shill is survived by her son Dennis C. Shill and daughter-in-law Mary Shill of Baton Rouge, LA, and grandsons Dex and wife Lyndi Shill and great-granddaughter Sophie, Davis Shill and Daniel Cole Shill; daughter Vickie and son-in-law Doug Simmons and grandson Bradley and wife Brenda Simmons of Hereford, AZ; son Ricky A. Ladner and daughter-in-law Sandra Ladner of Minden, LA, and grandchildren Kristina Russell of Shreveport, LA, James Ladner, Sabrina Troutman and Sara Busbee of Bossier City, LA, and great-grandchildren Milo, Lucy and Amelia Busbee, Axel Russell and Olivia Toutman. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses that cared for her and Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home will handle the services. Visitation will be Tuesday, 29, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., graveside service to begin at 11:00 a.m., at Coalville Cemetery, Harrison County, with Senior Pastor Dr. Jimmy Stewart officiating.
