Stanley Phillip "Phil" Oehms

Stanley Phillip "Phil" Oehms, Jr, age 73, died April 10, 2021 surrounded by his family. Although born in Mobile, AL on September 18, 1947, he lived all of his life in Biloxi, MS. He is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Phillip Oehms, Sr; his mother, Gladys Jo Lyons; his grandparents, Frank and Nancy Jane Wilson and John and Carrie "Nola" Oehms; and his sisters, Anita McNarron and Nola Jane Beninati. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Ann Quave Oehms; his children Connie Oehms Smith (Kevin), Karen Oehms Bush (Eddie), Eric Oehms (Kristy), Mandy Sablich Johnson (Jason) and Ryan Sablich; a granddaughter he helped raise, Megan Smith; 13 grandchildren; a multitude of nieces and nephews who he adored; and his fur baby, Cocoa. Phil was in the Coast Guard from 1964-1968. He owned and operated O’Diddles Dart Emporium and Pub for nearly a decade, but worked most of his life offshore. Phil loved to fish, hunt and golf and was the best Thibodeaux and Boudreaux joke teller. Services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends are invited to visit from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow D’Iberville Memorial Park. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Oehms family.
