Stanley Steve Rolkosky, age 86, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019, in Biloxi. Mr. Rolkosky worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding over 27 years. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, but his greatest joy was his family.
Mr. Rolkosky was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Francis Rolkosky; and four siblings, Mary Engbretson, Lillian Battise, Leo Rolkosky and Willie Rolkosky. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Sylvia Waltman Rolkosky; two children, Deborah (David) Morton and Stanley (Pam) Rolkosky, Jr.; sister, Francis Tillman; Grandchildren, Sheri (Paul) Krause, Ernie (Jan) LeBatard, Chris (Christy) LeBatard, Crystal (Jason) Fox, Michael (Kimberly) LeBlanc, Steven Rolkosky, Shana (Cedric) Rolkosky and Kristina (Matthew) Smith; thirteen great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the care and attention Mr. Rolkosky received while at Greenbriar Nursing Certer and a special thank you to his caretakers, Lynell Schneider, Cynthia Battise and Nelly Cruso.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
