Stephen Wayne "Doc" McAuliffe

Dr. Stephen Wayne “Doc” McAuliffe, age 69, passed away Thursday, May 2, at his home in Biloxi. He was born in Boston, MA. He was a graduate of Rutgers University, the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and had his family practice in Biloxi. He was a fan of anything that came out of Boston, a true Yankee at heart. He previously served in the US Army and was honorably discharged as a Major after 20 years of service. He enjoyed college basketball and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and June McAuliffe; and his wife, Lynnea Reis McAuliffe. He is survived by his children Kevin McAuliffe (Brenda), Nicole Edelen (Clinton), Kayla McAuliffe Morano, Ali McAuliffe, (Chris Garrett, Stephanie Addison (Jordi); grandchildren, Audrey and Andrew McAuliffe, Reis and Carson Edelen, Hayden and Hadleigh Morano; and his unofficial sister, Liz Metcalf. The funeral service will be Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 11:00 a.m. The reception details will be announced at the service.
