Stephen L. Duncan, 61, of D'Iberville, MS passed away in his home on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 after fighting for 2 and a 1/2 long and hard years with throat cancer. He fought until his last breath. Better known to the world as Steve, he came into this world on May 8th, 1959 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to his parents, Denver and Rosetta Duncan. He went to school in Pangburn, Arkansas and moved to Florida at age 17. He began his career in construction in 1983. Some of his notable accomplishments was working on the Arch in Missouri and his work on the Memphis Pyramid, as well as the Johnson & Johnson factory in Puerto Rico. He traveled the whole country, but spent most of his life between Arkansas, Florida, and Mississippi. He enjoyed fishing his entire life and never grew bored of it. He enjoyed classic country music and would sing and dance while making breakfast. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Gertie Rosetta Meddress and William Denver Duncan and multiple brothers and sisters. Steve is survived by brothers, Ronnie and Rocky Duncan; sisters, Gloria, Willa, Sharon, and Judy. He will be missed terribly by his loving wife, Tammy; daughter, Christy and husband Rob of Slidell, LA; daughter, Mary and husband Jakobee White of Dothan, AL; son, Timothy and wife Shayna of D'Iberville, MS; daughter, Juanita and husband Chris of D'Iberville, MS; son, Randy and his wife Brittany of D'Iberville, MS; and daughter, Kimberly and husband Gary of Tallahassee, FL. He is also remembered by his grandchildren, Vinnie, Phoenix, Cayden, Kyle, Gregory, Greenlee, Madison, Bradley, Gavin, Eva, Adeline, Topanga, and Titan. There are no services scheduled at this time. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi is honored to serve the Duncan family.
