Ms. Suquita “Darlene” Duffano, 76, of Biloxi, MS passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019.
She was born in Texas and lived most of her childhood in Oklahoma, where she graduated from Enid High School. Darlene worked at WLOX-TV for over 40 years and had the distinctive honor of being employee of the year. She was a member of Quota International and served on the board of the de l’Epee Deaf Center. Darlene enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Darlene is preceded in death by her former spouse, John Duffano; her parents, Martha and Jack Purdy; and her siblings, Tom Evans, Ray Evans, and Desiree Debettencourt.
She is survived by her two children, Tracy Filippi (Michael) of Biloxi and Kenneth Duffano (Sayward) of Gulfport; four grandchildren, Brad Morrow (Kimberly) of Covington, Melissa Faulk (Julie) of Biloxi, Kaitlyn Fulmer (Reid) of Memphis, and Johanna Duffano of Waco; and three great- grandchildren, Mason Morrow, Blair Faulk, and Quinn Faulk.
A celebration of her life will be held in the near future. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
