Theresa Blanchard Robbins, age 95, of Biloxi, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Gulfport, MS.
Theresa was born on April 30, 1922 in Franklin, LA. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville and was a lifelong member of the Fleur de Lis French Club. She loved watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. She enjoyed attending and never missed a baseball game that her great nephews and great-great nephew played. She will be remembered by her favorite saying “Well, I’m telling you.”
She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Robbins; parents, Robert A. Blanchard and Celina Simoneaux; and 5 siblings.
Survivors include her only child, Leta Robbins; baby sister, Betty Bosarge; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; along with great-great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gulfport Memorial Hospital and also to St. Joseph Hospice for their tender care.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11am. Friends may visit from 10-11am. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
