Theresa Robbins

Theresa Blanchard Robbins, age 95, of Biloxi, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Gulfport, MS. Theresa was born on April 30, 1922 in Franklin, LA. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville and was a lifelong member of the Fleur de Lis French Club. She loved watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. She enjoyed attending and never missed a baseball game that her great nephews and great-great nephew played. She will be remembered by her favorite saying “Well, I’m telling you.” She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Robbins; parents, Robert A. Blanchard and Celina Simoneaux; and 5 siblings. Survivors include her only child, Leta Robbins; baby sister, Betty Bosarge; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; along with great-great nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gulfport Memorial Hospital and also to St. Joseph Hospice for their tender care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11am. Friends may visit from 10-11am. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
