Thonda Jean "TJ" Conner

Thonda Jean “TJ” Conner, age 61, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021. TJ was born on June 16, 1959 in Columbus, GA. She was a graduate of Forest Park High School, Forest Park, GA and of the University of Arkansas EMT School. She was employed by American Medical Response (AMR) for 18 years. In 2004 she was named Employee of the Year. She served in the U.S. Air Force and Naval Reserve. During her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, traveling and drinking Coke. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her. TJ was preceded in death by her father, Tom Williams. Survivors include her loving husband, Paul Conner; mother, Barbara Williams; children, Brandy Cousins (Mike) and Richard Conner; stepson, Scott Conner (Jennifer); grandchildren, Rylan Cousins, Hunter DeLeeuw, Haley DeLeeuw, Ethan Conner, Megan Conner and Sydney Conner; one great grandchild, Avery; siblings, Kim Davis (Roger), Tammy Goebeler (Jeff), Andrea Prather and Tom Williams, Jr. (Kim); and her pet companion, Duke. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Keesler Medical Center, especially the 4th floor wing- surgical care, and the ICU for their professionalism and kindness. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior. A private graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery.
