Trixie Mullin Urie

Trixie Mullin Urie, age 89, of Gulfport, MS died Saturday, June 5, 2021. Trixie was born in Ocean Springs, MS and was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. Mrs. Urie was the retired owner of Mercury Air Conditioning, a member of The Nourishing Place in Gulfport, past president of the Jaycettes and former member of the Dutchess Club in Ocean Springs. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and traveling with her husband in their RV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Field Mullin and Ruth Inza Madsen Mullin. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Urie; daughters, Lisa Buckley, Lynne Bragg (David), Margaret Wack, Phyllis Miller (Craig), and Nancy Pacher; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Nourishing Place, 606 Tennessee Street, Gulfport, MS 39501, followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport, MS. The family prefers memorials to The Nourishing Place, 606 Tennessee Street, Gulfport, MS 39501 or the Cancer Center at Memorial Hospital, P.O. Box 1810, Gulfport, MS 39502.
