Vicky Lynn McGillivary Cates

Vicky Lynn McGillivary Cates, age 65, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Vicky was born on May 27, 1955 in Wadena, MN. She was a Christian and worked as a teacher’s assistant. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Betty Withing McGillivary. Survivors include her husband, John Cates; son, Sam Cates (Kathy); brothers, Jerry McGillivary, Tim McGillivary and Tom McGillivary; and three grandchildren, John Davis, Thomas Davis and Charlotte Davis. Funeral service will be held at Karvonen Funeral Home in Wadena, MN on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 1pm. Friends are invited to visit from 10am-1pm. A private graveside service will be held.
