Virginia "Ginny" Lee Damesworth Bair

Virginia “Ginny” Lee Damesworth Bair, 73, of Gulfport, MS passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in Gulfport. Ginny was born in Hickman, KY. She attended MGCCC and USM. Ginny enjoyed football, painting, drawing and arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Damesworth; her mother and stepfather, Doris and Walter Phillips; and her sister, Lynn Phillips. Ginny’s survivors include her daughters, Nichole Walker and Susan Syverson; her grandchildren, Megan (Zach) Chesson, Anthony Syverson, Kerry Cooley and David Cooley; her siblings, Denise (Mike) Thompson, Jerry (Tina) Phillips and Jeanne (Andy) Barford; and her pet, Chico. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Lakeview Nursing Home, Encompass Home Health and Hospice, Guest Services Department at Premium Outlet Mall, Norwood Church and Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 7:00 pm. Friends may visit from 5:30 pm until service time. A reception will follow the service at 13210 E. Carriage Circle, Gulfport, MS. A graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 9:00 am.
