Vivyan Kimber Davis

Vivyan Kimber Davis was so eager to enter this world, she was born nine weeks early at only 2 lbs, 12 oz. on April 30, 2021, in Mobile, Alabama. Little Vivyan spent her first five weeks in the Neonatal ICU at the USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital in Mobile where the nurses described Vivyan as a “little spitfire who was easily consolable.” After she finally came home, Vivyan spent most of her time sleeping, eating, visiting doctors, having her weight checked, going on outings, riding in cars, posing for pictures with her siblings, and spending time being loved by her family. Although our hearts are broken, and we will forever miss our little Vivyan, we are comforted in the knowledge that “to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord,” and the belief that Vivyan is truly happy to be in heaven with Jesus and our Heavenly Father. Vivyan Kimber Davis is survived by her parents, Joseph Aaron Davis and Elisabeth Harper Lewis; her brothers, Julian Jarrell and Nathan Davis; her sister, Eden Davis; all of Biloxi, MS; her paternal grandmother, Suzanne Graczyk of D’Iberville, MS; her maternal grandfather, Christopher Lewis of Baton Rouge, LA; her maternal grandmother, Pamela Lewis (Timothy) of San Antonio, TX; her paternal greatgrandmother, Maryann Graczyk of Biloxi, MS; her maternal great-grandfather, Neil Mearns of Pass Christian; her maternal aunt, Virginia Lewis of Baton Rouge, LA; her maternal uncle, John Lewis (Sarah) of Hammond, LA; her paternal great uncle, Norbert John Graczyk of Biloxi, MS; her maternal great uncle, Stephen Mearns (Susan) of Pass Christian, MS; and her special auntie, Crystal Crane of Ocean Springs, MS. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the D’Iberville Memorial Park, 11041 Gorenflo Road, in D’Iberville, MS.
