Wes DeRouen, of Biloxi, Mississippi, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the age of 21. Wes is survived by his parents, Len and Trish DeRouen; his siblings, Ethan, Haley and Myles; his grandparents, Wendell and Wanda Cothern, Leroy and Betty Lynn DeRouen, and Dean Larche; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wes was born in Hattiesburg, MS on June 5, 1998. He grew up enjoying water sports on the Tchoutacabouffa River that ran behind his family’s home. He loved to spend time with his family on weekend outings on their boat, and greatly enjoyed family vacations taken to the Caribbean. Wes also found his passion in tumbling, thus leading him to join the Cheer Zone Athletics competitive cheer team where he excelled as an athlete. Recently, Wes turned his attention to a real estate investment venture with his father in the Destin, Florida area.
A private service for immediate family only is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2020.
