William E. "Willie" Tanner

Mr. William E. "Willie" Tanner, age 58, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021, in Pascagoula. Willie was born on August 5, 1963, to James and Doris Tanner. He lived in Vancleave his whole life. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joseph and Bobby and sister, Nena Marie. Survivors include his wife, Rachel, daughter, Amanda O'Brien, grandchildren, Kevin Elton, James O'Brien, Micheal (Evelyn Mae) O'Brien, Hailee Ridgdell and Aidan Ridgdell, nephew, James Rice, brother, Robert (Brenda) Tanner and Charles "Charlie" (Alice) Tanner, three sons, Kevin W. O'Brien, Alex Ridgdell and James A. Tanner. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous other family members. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 1pm until 2pm, with a 2 pm church service, all at the Reorganized Church Latter Day Saints. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
