William “Trey” B. Dorris III, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017.
Trey was a cowboy from West Texas who loved the desert, motorcycles and shooting his old revolver. He was a consistent man who raised his sons to be men. By trade, Trey was a master pipe welder and worked mainly for the shipbuilding industry on the Gulf Coast. He was a hardened cowboy biker dude on the outside, but had a soft loving inside. He died from a broken heart. His wife of 25 years, Ellen Dorris, passed away in September, and Trey’s health declined quickly thereafter.
Trey is also preceded in death by his mother Ruth Blue and William B. Dorris II of Alpine, TX. Trey leaves behind his brother Howard Dorris, sister-in-law Georgia Goodell, sons Joel R. Dorris and Sunshine Dorris, daughter-in-law Jaimee Dorris, 5 grandchildren and dog Nina.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 16th, 2017 at 1pm at Trey’s residence: 14905 Pine Ridge Road in Ocean Springs. Friends, family, and colleagues are all welcome to attend.
