A. Mike Desmond, MSgt USAF Retired, 65, of Gulfport, MS, died Friday, June 4, 2010, in Gulfport. He was born in Geneva, New York and had been a resident of the coast over 20 years. He retired as Master Sergeant from the U. S. Air Force with over 24 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the VFW and American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Cricket L. Desmond of Gulfport; son, Mikey M. Desmond of Gulfport; and sister, Barbara Hurley of Marietta, GA. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
