Allen Wayne Preston, age 71, of Saucier died Friday, April 15, 2016 in Gulfport. He was born in Success and was a lifelong resident of Harrison County. He was a graduate of Gulfport High School. He was Baptist and was the owner of Preston’s TV and Appliance Repair in Gulfport. He was an avid Saints fan and enjoyed wade fishing for speckled trout, and played volleyball and darts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Preston, Sr. and Annie Belle McNeely Preston; son, Rodney Preston; sister Nora; four brothers Lonnie Jr., Bobby, Thomas, and Freddie.
Mr. Preston is survived by his wife, Christine Biggerstaff Preston; a daughter, Elizabeth Baird and her fiancé, Keith Barrett; two sons, Donovan and spouse Kim, Gregory and spouse Kelly; daughter-in-law, Nikki Preston; sister, Mona Reed and spouse Jr.; brother, Donnie; brother-in-law and his wife David and Sherilyn Biggerstaff; sister-in-law and her husband Cindy and Greg Randolph; two sisters-in-law Mary Ann Wiginton and Gail Preston; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Success Community Center, 12361 School Road, Saucier, MS with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 P.M.
