Amanda Lorraine Walker

Mrs. Amanda Lorraine Walker, age 34, of Jayess, MS, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Amanda was a native of Virginia and a former longtime resident of Ocean Springs. She attended Ocean Springs High School and was of the Catholic faith. She was a former employee at Walgreens as a photo technician and was a loving wife, mother and daughter. She was preceded in death by her brother, Benjamin L. Walker IV and grandparents, Benjamin L. Walker Jr and Lorraine Walker. Survivors include her husband, David Matthew Tanner, two daughters, Raygan Roberts and Rylee Tanner, son, Bryson Tanner, parents, Danette and Benjamin Walker, sister, Nichole Bigelow, niece, Haleigh, nephews, Skylar, Hobie, Kristopher and grandfather, John Apgar. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 22, from 5pm until 7pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Wednesday, August 23, there will be an 11am chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
