Amelia Donita "Nita" Quinlan

Mrs. Amelia D. "Nita" Quinlan, age 82, of Biloxi, MS passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, in Ocean Springs. Nita was a devoted and cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to dance, especially square dancing and round dancing. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Nita was preceded in death by two wonderful husbands, Joseph F. Quinlan and Marcus H. Walker. Survivors include her loving children, Steve (Pinky) Walker and Sharon (Duke) Bruce; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Danny) Goodwin, Jackie (Wes) Justice, Marcus Walker and Jonathan Walker; her great grandchildren, Grant and Lauren Goodwin and Kennedy Justice. She is also survived by her brother, Joe Beaty; her sisters, Marie Gould, Bobby (Maxwell) Parmer, Selene Baxley and Betty (Douglas) Hartzog. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends including her friend and dance partner, Rod Beecher. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
