Ann Marie Latil Collins

d. January 23, 2026

Ann Marie Latil Collins, age 77, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026. She was a longtime resident of Biloxi and a graduate of Biloxi High School and Pearl River Community College.

Ann treasured her time with her family and friends. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for conversation, making everyone feel instantly welcome and at ease. Her jovial personality and infectious laughter could fill an entire room, and her signature smile only enhanced her natural beauty.

Ann enjoyed working alongside her father at Latil Motors Co. until its closure. Later, she and her husband, Lee, became her father’s caregivers. She was a devoted and loving daughter.

Ann especially enjoyed watching movies and football with her husband and was an avid fan of the Biloxi Shuckers. These moments, whether quiet or spirited, brought her great joy. A devoted animal lover, Ann cared deeply for many stray and neighborhood cats, ensuring they were always fed, safe, and loved. Her compassion for animals was matched by her love of the outdoors. She took great pride in her garden, particularly the colorful zinnias that bloomed each year and warmly welcomed visitors to her home.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Bob) and Ida Lee (Saujon) Latil; her son, Patrick; and her beloved brother, Joe Latil.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 47 years, Lee C. Collins; and her brothers, whom she dearly loved, Robert W. (Bobby) Latil (Cheryl) and Jack D. Latil (Linda); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann’s wishes were to be cremated, and the family is honoring those wishes. In honor of Ann’s love for animals, donations may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of South Mississippi- an organization she heartily supported.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Memorial Hospital Biloxi, Dr. Francesco Simeone, the dedicated medical staff, and her dear friends Darwin Hilton, Trini Lopez, and Karen Parker for their compassion, care, and unwavering support.

Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Latil.
