Anna June Skinner

Anna June Skinner, age 82, of Biloxi, MS passed away on February 15, 2022. She never met a stranger and loved all she did meet. Her career was spent with Jackson County School District at St. Martin High School. She had a special love and passion for all the students, staff, teachers and coaches. Anna shared her special love for cooking with everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna “Sarah” Lechner; and sister, Barbara (Everett) Williams. 
 Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 66 years, Gerald Skinner; sons, Gerald (Tammy) Skinner Jr., and Larry (Linda) Skinner; daughter, Robin (Mickey) May; silbings, Andrew Albert (Bunny) Lechner, Daniel (Roberta) Lechner and Linda (CB) Saucier; grandchildren, Trini Uhlmann, Misty Bowman, Magen Patterson, Miki Zimmerman, Kelsey May, Lauren Skinner, and Brandi Hill; and 10 great grandchildren. 
 The family would like to give a special thank you to Sunplex Nursing Home, Ocean Springs Health & Rehab, and Southern Care Hospice for all the loving care they provided to a very special wife, mother and everyone’s “June Bug”.
 In leiu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Hospital at www.stjude.org in her memory. A celebration of life will be held Friday, February 25 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi, MS on Howard Avenue with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Biloxi City Cemetery immediately following the service. Bradford-O'Keefe is honored to serve the family of Anna June Skinner.
