Ardell Holliman Helton

Ardell Holliman Helton, 97, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 in Gulfport. Mrs. Helton was the last living member of her and her husband's generation. Mrs. Helton was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henry Helton and her son, Roger Dale Helton. Mrs. Helton was a loving mother to her son, Rudolph Thomas Helton (Joyce) of Saucier, 5 daughters, Mary Harmon (Johnny) of Biloxi, Margie Twine of Perkinston, Betty Roberts (Chuck) of Wiggins, Martha Johns of Gulfport, and Diane Swetman of Bioxi. She is also survived by numerous grand- children, great-grandchildren, and many 5th generation great- great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7-10 PM, Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on O'Neal Road in Gulfport. A service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 25, 2005 at Orange Grove Chapel. Burial will be at Dobson-Holliman Cemetery.
