Aubrey Lee "Doodle" Hackler

Aubrey Lee “Doodle” Hackler, age 93, of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Aubrey was born on May 6, 1930 in Little Rock, AR. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed crocheting, reading, sewing, needlework, and growing plants.

Aubrey was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Ivan Starnes and Naoma “Oma” Elizabeth Starnes; her husband, William E. Hackler; children, Naoma Lee Blossom and Gary Wayne Hackler; and siblings, Bettie Sue Gifford and Barbara Ann Beck.

Survivors include her children, Richard Hackler (Betty), Darlene Yarberry, and Wilson Hackler (Julie); grandchildren, Jessi Dane, Greg Hackler, Gary Hackler, Michael Hackler, William Hackler, Tina Scott, William Yarberry, Jordan Yarberry, and Savannah Killion; great-grandchildren, Hunter Hackler, Cheyenne Hackler, Solstice Dane, Zachary Dane, Gabbie Westerfield, Zora Killion, and Otis Killion; and her beloved pet, Sabastian.

A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at North Little Rock Funeral Home in Little Rock, AR. Interment will be at Cato Cemetery in Sherwood, AR. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Hackler family.
