Audrey Middleton Dees

Mrs. Audrey Middleton Dees, 86, of Gulfport, MS, died Saturday, September 19, 2009, in Gulfport. Mrs. Dees was born in Marianna, Florida and had been a longtime resident of Gulfport. She was a homemaker and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Escatawpa. Mrs. Dees was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Dees; son, Dr. James Gregory Dees, and her parents. She is survived by her son, John (Robin) Dees of Gulfport; brother, Robert (Lucy Mae) Middleton; sister-in-law, Lavonia (Howard) Duer of Hurley, MS; two grandsons, Sean Gregory (Celeste) Dees and Dr. John Gregory Dees. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Cross Roads Baptist Church, 3824 Wembley St., Escatawpa, MS where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Hurley, MS. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
