August George Alves

Mr. August George Alves, age 80, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018. Mr. Alves was born on July 29, 1938 in Biloxi, MS and attended Biloxi High School. He is preceded in death by his parents, August and Phala Alves. Survivors include his children, Susan Michaelson, Lisa Alves, August Alves and Micky Beck; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and siblings, Kay Alves and Kevin Alves. A memorial service will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may visit one-hour prior. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Ocean Springs. Reception to follow at 9994 Rodriguez Street, adjacent to Reno’s Sports Pub in D’Iberville.
