Austin Michael Tangen

Austin Michael Tangen, affectionately known as “Stompy” to many, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in D’Iberville, Mississippi, at the age of 28.

Austin was born on March 31, 1998, in Auburn, Washington, to Barbara North and Jeremy Tangen. For the last several years, Biloxi, Mississippi, had been his home. He had a way of making friends wherever he went and never met a stranger. He enjoyed bull riding, spending time with friends, and most recently, riding his beloved bike, Athena. Through his love of riding, Austin gained not only many new friends but also a chosen family who meant so much to him.

He is survived by his father, Jeremy Tangen; his mother, Barbara North; his mom, Holly Tangen; his siblings, Tyler Bellamy, MaryBrenna Tangen, Davina Hill, and Brayden Hill; and his loving biker family.

He was preceded in death by his Grandma Honey; his Grandpa Les; and too many dear friends to name.
