It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Barbara June Foster on May 27, 2025. She was surrounded by her family. She was married to Michael Foster of Biloxi on June 25, 1990; they were almost married for 35 years. Barbara grew up in Springfield, Illinois. Then, she moved to Biloxi to be with her beloved husband, Michael Foster.
Barbara was passionate about working within Restaurants and catering businesses for over 30 years and other jobs she enjoyed in Springfield, IL and Biloxi, Ms.
Her dream was to own her own catering business. That dream came through in 2000. Started off slow and then kicked off. In May 2005 everything changed. Coming back from Springfield, a drunk ran her off the road south of Jackson, MS. She had to shut everything down and went on disability. That's when "My Beautiful Bride" became my hero.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne (Lena) Andrews of Springfield IL, her Son Joseph "Joey" Richardson of Springfield, IL. (Sister in law) Anita Foster Denham of Biloxi Ms and (Brother in Law) Rodney Foster of Biloxi Ms.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Michael Foster, two daughters, Penny Graham of Pheonix, AZ, and Laura (Todd) Gandy of St. Martin, Ms. As well as four step-sons Derek (Alison) Foster of Hammond, La, Robby (Carmen) Foster of St. Martin, Ms, Jonathan (Becky) Foster of Biloxi, Ms, Daniel (Brandy) Foster of Ponchatoula, La, one Sister Debbie (John) Rogers of Cornfield, AZ, Brother in Law James "Barney" (Naomi) Foster and Brother in Law Rick Denham. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family asks in lieu of flowers to please donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital or your local Humane Society.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Barbara June Foster.
