Barbara Ward

Barbara Garrett Ward, 66, of Biloxi went to be with the Lord and her family on Monday, April 14, 2008. Barbara was a life long resident of Biloxi and a member of First Baptist Church in Biloxi. She was a 1962 Graduate at Biloxi High School. For the past several years, she was a caregiver and senior companion for numerous coast residents. She had a deep rooted faith in Jesus Christ and a love for humanity. She was passionate about gardening and her love for animals. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jewell Garrett, brother and sister-in-law, Jody and Gloria Garrett. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who leaves behind her son, Kenneth Eychner of Biloxi, daughter, Connie Hall of Biloxi, 3 grandchildren: Paige, Michael and Brandon; her sister, Nancy Garrett Davis of Biloxi and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Memorial Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Both will take place at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
