Barry Yates

Barry Yates, 55, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Gulfport. Mr. Yates was a native of Jackson County and had been living in Gulfport for the past four years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred T. Yates, Sr. and Nettie Ray Davis Yates. Mr. Yates is survived by his daughter, Bridget Edwards of Bainbridge, GA; two sisters, Julie Yates of Waveland, MS, and Tammy Yates of Auburn, AL; two brothers, Fred T. Yates, Jr. of Dover, FL and Jeff C. Yates, Sr. of Wilmer, AL; three granddaughters and eleven nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. Interment will be in Tanner Williams Cemetery at at a later date.
