B.C. Corbello, 90, of Vancleave, MS passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Vancleave.
B.C. was a native of Alabama and a resident of Vancleave for the last 14 years. She was loved by many and had ways all of her own. Mammaw was a sassy, independent woman whom loved gardening, spending time with her family and volunteering with the Ocean Springs Hospital Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Windham and Josephine Windham Fountain; her brothers, Stanley Fountain, Jody Fountain and Eugene Fountain; her first husband, Julius Porter Morgan Fountain, Sr. and second Husband, Claude Melvin Corbello; daughters Betina Cox and Julia Wheatley; daughter-in-law Debbie Fountain, son-in-law Rod Cox, Sr. and grandchildren Cathy Hembree and Breck Davis.
Mrs. Corbello’s survivors include her brothers and sisters, Mary (Doug) Dean, Bobbie (Bo) Parnell, PeeWee (Carolyn) Fountain and Bryant (Mary) Fountain, Rita Ann Fountain. Her surviving children include Julius (Hope) Fountain, Leonard (Bonnie) Fountain, Sr., Barbara (Harry) Davis, and Frankie Fountain, son-in-law Mike Wheatley; step-children include Shirley (Larry) Collins, Tony (Shirley) Corbello, and Johnny (Suky) Corbello. Mammaw was loved by 25 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be held at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 12205 Mt. Pleasant Road, Vancleave, Mississippi 39565. Family Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:00 PM, Friends at 1:00-2:00 PM, Services at 2:00 PM. Graveside to follow Ramsey Vancleave Cemetery #2.
