Bena "Bea" Havens Dickerson

Bena Havens Dickerson, age 82, of Gulfport died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in Gulfport. She was born in Gulfport and had been a resident of Gulfport for most of her life. She was a member of Gulf Gardens Baptist Church, Gulfport and attended the Seniors’ Center in West Gulfport. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Dickerson, Jr. Mrs. Dickerson is survived by a daughter, Debbie Dickerson of Gulfport; a son, Douglas Dickerson of McKinney, Texas; a granddaughter, Chloe Dickerson of McKinney, Texas; a niece, June Anderson and nephew, Jerry Jordan, both of Brandon. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi.
