Benjamin Stephen Balinski, Jr.

Mr. Benjamin S. Balinski, Jr. age 81, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Balinski, a resident of the community for 2 years, was a carpenter and did extensive woodworking. He was very active with the St. Anthony's Parish in Blue Ridge, GA., where he was a resident for 25 years. He loved fishing, boating and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, June Balinski, his parents, Benjamin and Lillian Balinski, Sr., and a brother Henry Balinski. Survivors include two daughters, Theresa (Jerry) Sheehan of Ocean Springs, MS and Laura (Scott) Seider of Fox Point, WI, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
