Bertha Davis

Mrs. Bertha V. Davis, 94 died Monday, December 11, 2006 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mrs. Davis was born in Lumberton, MS and was a longtime resident of the coast she was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Latimer. She was preceded in death by her parents Issiah and Latisha Slade Davis, sisters; Myrtie Lane, Bertie Mae Johnson, Vergie Anderson and Berlynne Barth; brothers Barkley and Berkley Davis; a daughter M. Jean Love; two granddaughters E. Marie Davis and Gloria Jean Brashier. Mrs. Davis is survived by a son F.K. Davis of Wiggins; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the House of Prayer Tabernacle Latimer from 11:30 until 1:00 pm with burial to follow at the House of Prayer Tabernacle cemetery in Latimer. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
