Beryl Marie Fountain

Beryl Marie Fountain left this world to be at peace with the Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the age of 93. Beryl was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church Altar Society and a member of the Legion of Mary. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister as well as a joy to everyone she knew. Those that knew her will remember her for her quiet strength and her ever-present faith. She was the backbone of her family and all who loved her are truly blessed to have had this gift from God. She will remain forever in our hearts. Beryl is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mary Morris; and brothers, Terrell Morris, James Q. Morris and Joseph L. Morris, Jr. Her survivors include, her loving husband of 56 years, Perry W. Fountain of North Biloxi, MS; one daughter, Faye Byrd (Virgil) of North Biloxi, MS; one son, Wayne Goff of North Biloxi, MS; one sister, Marietta Fountain of Ocean Springs, MS; one grandson, Barry Byrd of Larue, MS; two great-grandchildren, Jennifer Necaise of Vancleave and Ryan Byrd of Larue, MS; one great great-grandson, Lane Necaise; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials to be made to St. Vincent de Paul, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39540. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until Mass. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery in Biloxi. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
