Betty A Busby

Ms. Betty Busby, a resident of Gulfport, died Saturday the 29th of October at Garden Park Hospital. Born May 30, 1929 in Trafalgar, Indiana., Betty graduated from High School and shortly thereafter married husband, Jimmie H. Busby. She traveled and visited many places and countries, Betty was a homemaker and supportive of her husband’s work before he retired. They lived in Mexico and enjoyed the scenery and foods. Betty loved good food and socializing. She enjoyed watching football games with family and friends and played the slot machines when she could visit the casinos. Betty had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Blair of Inverness Florida and Joyce Shekter of Gulfport Mississippi. Betty lost a son, Michael Busby, in 2005. She has five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. They live in California, Florida and Alabama. They brought great joy to her later years.
