Betty C. Knight

Betty C. Knight, age 71, of Ocean Springs, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Betty was born in Bentonia, MS. She was a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for the past 60 years. She owned and operated Betty’s of Gautier Beauty Parlor. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Minnie Ashley; and three brothers. Survivors include her husband, Bathel Knight of Abbeville, LA; daughters, Kristina Taylor of Ocean Springs, MS and Jeanne (Randall) Gray of Vancleave, MS; sons, Charles Ballard of Atlanta, GA and Kevin Knight of Kissimmee, FL; brother, David Ashley of Mesa, AZ; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 4pm. Friends may visit from 2-4pm.
