Joan Saucier

Betty Joan Price Saucier, 74, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 in the comfort of her home.

Joan was long-time resident of Biloxi and native of Gulfport. She was a graduate of Harrison Central High School, Class of 1970, and received a Bachelors of Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, Class of 1979. Joan served as an elementary school teacher for the Biloxi Public School District for 26 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband and loving partner of 46 years, Clarence Joseph “Cottie” Saucier; father, Reese Thomas Price; mother, Ella Vee Reeves Price; brother-in-law, Ralph William Saucier; and sister-in-law, Carol Overby Price.

She is survived by her sons, Clarence Joseph “Joel” Saucier III (Aimee) of Pass Christian, MS and Casey Donavon Saucier of Biloxi, MS; grandchildren, Gracie Clare Saucier, Parker Joseph Saucier, and Morgan Elizabeth Saucier of Pass Christian, MS; brother, Thomas Glenn Price of Saucier, MS; sister-in-law, Annie Jo Saucier of Biloxi, MS; sister-in-law, Joanne Helen Saucier of Morgantown, WV; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

Joan was a devoted and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, friend, animal lover and gardener. Her infectious smile and contagious laughter filled any room and she loved being surrounded by children and pets above all else.

Joan lived a joyous life, filled with love and laughter, and anyone who had the joy of knowing her were truly blessed.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit from 2:30 pm to 4 pm. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America https://alzfdn.org/donate/ in lieu of flowers.
