Betty “Sue” Lott Bond Turner was born September 24, 1930, in Sumrall, Mississippi and passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in Ocean Springs. She was a wonderful mother, loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.T. "Jake" Bond and second husband, Roy Lavelle Turner, Sr., her parents, Estus and Betty Lott, two sons, William Edward "Bill" Bond and Roy Lavelle Turner, Jr., her brothers Clinton, Cullen, and Estus Earl Lott, and great-granddaughter Celeste Todd.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharron Bond Kestner (Rick) of Ocean Springs, Ann Turner Wooten (Ken) of Gulfport, Carol Turner McDuffie (Bobby) of Ocean Springs; her son, William "Bill" Turner (Lisa) of Hattiesburg; special daughter-in-law, Gloria Walters Bond of Sumrall; eleven grandchildren, Chuck Hanna (Angie), Brian Kestner (Stephanie), Kim Pittman (Dennis), Kayla Wiseman (Brad), Jake Bond, Cameron Wooten, Rachel McDuffie, Joseph McDuffie, Alex Turner (Laken), Steven Turner (Danielle), and Spencer Turner; thirteen great-grandchildren, Kiley Hanna, Colton Hanna, Andrew Taylor Kestner, Sydney Kestner (Kasey Meares), Miranda Williams, Bree Kracht, Mary Kestner, Cooper Kestner, Christopher Pittman, Austin Pittman, Shadow Hennis, Dalton Bond, and Sadie Turner; one great-great-grand, child Parker Meares, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of First Baptist Church Ocean Springs.

We celebrate her life as she is finally home with her Lord and Savior.

A graveside service will be held in Hattiesburg at Highland Cemetery on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Military Baptist Church in Sumrall, Mississippi or a charity of your choice.

She was transferred from Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi to Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg for services. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Betty “Sue” Lott Bond Turner.
