Bettye Louise Keeton

Bettye Louise Keeton, 86, of Saucier, MS passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026, in Saucier.

She was born on April 17, 1940, in Peoria, IL. She graduated from Woodruff High School in Peoria, IL and Illinois Central College to receive her LPN in nursing. She was employed at St. Francis Hospital for one year and Apostolic Christian Life Points for 24 years. Bettye enjoyed gardening and art.

Bettye was preceded in death by her parents, Obie W. Abbott and Mary M. Traxell Abott; her children Scott Keeton of New Mexico and Jim Keeton of Texas; her siblings, Tom Abbott, Geneva McMullen, Lois Nichols and Pauline Conyer.

Survivors include her husband, William James “Bill” Keeton; her children, Marni Nattier and Kelli Keeton; her grandchildren, Kassandra Keeton, Cole and Mandy Nattier and Megan Nattier; great grandchildren; Jace Nattier, Kinlee Nattier, Lanyssa Smith and Mya Smith; and her dog, Kooper.
