Beverly Joy Hebert, age 86 of D’Iberville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Beverly was born on October 10, 1939, in Gulfport. She was employed with the City of Biloxi for over 20 years in the Accounting Department. Her previous employment was with Swingster in Ocean Springs and Gulf Wire in Biloxi.
Beverly was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville and St. Louis Catholic Church, where she was a choir member, before Hurricane Katrina. Beverly loved her family more than anything, especially being with them at family gatherings around the holidays. She carried on family traditions of cooking and baking. She loved going on cruises, camping in the early days, and traveling with her family.
Beverly is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Septime “Pete” J. Hebert, Jr.; her parents, Roy Vincent, Sr. and Eleanor Cox; her son, Joseph Vincent Hebert; grandchild, Acadia Winters; great grandchild Josephine Winters; and siblings, Carolyn Cook and Roy Cox, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Deonne (Joey) Olier, Connie (Kevin) Elliott, Sr. and Sharon Hebert; grandchildren, Christy Cook, A.J. Olier, Elizabeth Elliott, Kevin Elliott, Jr., Brittany Businelle, Jonathan Harris, Jason Harris, Jared Harris, Vincent Falgo, and Catherine Overstreet; great-grandchildren; Christopher Battaya, Jeffery Battaya, Shelby Cook, Bella Olier, Garrett Olier, Aliyah Harris, Jacob Harris, Myles Harris, Myla Harris, McKenzie Falgo, Brooklin Arguelles, Karleigh Elliott, Moby Businelle, Fynn Businelle, Braxton Overstreet, Ava Grace Overstreet, Maddox Overstreet, Hunter Winters and Kimberly Gordon; and great, great-grandchildren, Airiana Battaya, Christoper Joseph “C.J.” Battaya, Jr., Waylon Battaya, Gatlin Leger, and Gentry Leger.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit from 9:30 am - 11 am. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
Our family would like to thank Barbara Bullard, Gloria Duke, Bobbie Ferguson, and their families for the love and care they provided to our mother for six years. We could not have done it without them.
