Billy Ray Murphy, Sr.

Billy Ray Murphy, Sr., 78, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Vancleave. Mr. Murphy was a native of Boaz, AL and a longtime resident of Ocean Springs. He was a retired Auto Body Mechanic. He is preceded in death by his mother, Eunice Murphy Cowart; and his father, Jody Murphy. Mr. Murphy’s survivors include his children, Billy Ray Murphy, Jr., Shannon Marie Murphy, Tonya Sleasman, Tina Heathcoe, Melissa Schroeder and Richard Bond; his former wife, Bobbie Formica; and his brother, James Cowart. Private Services will be held. The Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
