Billy Carlton Stringer

Mr. Billy Carlton Stringer, 84, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, in Lumberton. He grew up in Mize, MS and had previously been a longtime resident of Gulfport. He was a retired U. S. Air Force Veteran as a Tech Sergeant and he also retired as a mechanic in the automotive industry. He was a member of the Methodist faith. Mr.Stringer was preceded in death by his wife, Burma Dean Stringer, and his daughter, Billie Frances Wilkerson. He is survived by his son, Dean (Kathy) Stringer; brother, Pete Stringer; three grandchildren, Delaney Waltman, Irena Stringer Lee and Billy Kyle Stringer; and three great-grandchildren, Cameron Waltman, Casyn Waltman and Peyton Grace Lee. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2016, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi. A procession will leave the funeral home 2:15 p.m. for Graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
